MothUp Dallas/Storyteller Ranch

What is a MothUp?  MothUps are “home grown” storytelling groups set up across the country, and are officially sanctioned by TheMoth.org.  MothUps follow strict storytelling guidelines, mainly, that all stories be true, first person narratives that follow a designated theme, and are told within a specified time limit (5-8 minutes).

MothUps were set up to give storytellers a place to fine tune their skills at the local level, while at the same time, giving them an opportunity to get noticed nationally.

Storyteller Ranch is a MothUp in Dallas, and is officially registered with TheMoth.org.  About every month, Storyteller ranch gathers at The Windmill Lounge near downtown Dallas to tell true stories told live without notes.
